On November 1, in the T7 bid section of the reconstruction and expansion project of the Hehui section of the Changsheng Shenzhen Expressway, several earth moving trucks shuttled back and forth to unload materials, closely followed by graders and road rollers. This is the first operation site of the subgrade filling test section of the project. The smooth commencement of this section has opened the prelude to the large-scale subgrade filling construction of the whole line.
It is reported that the first subgrade test section of the project is located at the A ramp of Huizhou West Interchange, with a length of 200 meters. It is filled with earth rock mixture and full width filling.
"During the construction process, we adhere to high standards and strict requirements to ensure the quality of subgrade filling. According to the relevant technical summary results, large areas of subgrade earthwork filling will be started successively along the whole line." Su Gaoyu, the project leader, said that the project strictly implemented the "first piece project approval system", strengthened the inspection records of various parameters, and determined the best mechanical combination, loose paving thickness, rolling times and other main parameters of subgrade technology, which were used as the construction standards for subsequent subgrade works.
While promoting the construction of subgrade, bridge pile foundation, culvert, etc. in an orderly manner, the project has built an intelligent reinforcement processing plant and concrete mixing station to make every effort to stabilize the investment and ensure the completion of the annual goals and tasks. Intelligent management and automatic production are implemented throughout the construction process to greatly improve the construction efficiency.
"A reinforcement processing plant covering an area of about 5000 square meters and a concrete transportation center covering 10000 square meters have been built in each section of the project." Su Gaoyu introduced that the production efficiency of the intelligent steel bar processing line is three times that of manual production. Each intelligent concrete transportation center can produce 240~360 cubic meters of concrete per hour, which meets the material demand during the project.
As a key project in the 14th Five Year Plan of Guangdong Province, the reconstruction and expansion project of the Hehui section of the Changshu Shenzhen Expressway starts in Dongyuan County, Heyuan City, and ends in Huiyang District, Huizhou City, with a total length of about 116.6 kilometers. It is planned to transform the two-way four lane road into a two-way eight lane road. The design speed of the section from Puqian Interchange to Baishi Interchange is 120 km/h, and the rest of the road sections are 100 km/h. After the completion of the project, it will further strengthen the connection between Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area and Jiangxi Province and other central regions, promote the connection between the core area of Shenzhen Dongguan Huizhou Metropolitan Circle and Heyuan and other places, and promote the coordinated social and economic development of Guangdong.
