On October 30, the machinery and vehicles on the Qinglianggang Bridge of Zhejiang's temporary expressway traveled in an orderly manner. With the completion of the paving of the last truck of asphalt mixture, the construction of the 85.5km long temporary expressway main line pavement is completed. So far, the main project of the inter provincial highway connecting Zhejiang and Anhui has been completed, laying a solid foundation for the completion and opening of the project.

The temporary expressway is invested and constructed by Zhejiang Provincial Communications Group. The project starts from the Qianqiuguan Tunnel at the junction of Zhejiang and Anhui provinces, passes through Lin'an, Tonglu and Jiande in Hangzhou, and finally ends at Anren hub of Hangzhou Xinjing Expressway. After the completion of the temporary expressway, it will break the shackles of the natural barrier between the central and southwest regions of Zhejiang Province and the southeast regions of Anhui Province, accelerate the economic development and industrial linkage of the western region of Zhejiang, and serve the integration of the Yangtze River Delta and the construction of the common prosperity demonstration zone in Zhejiang Province.

The temporary expressway is a typical mountain expressway, with 70 bridges (23.3km in total) and 30 tunnels (33.7km in total), accounting for 66.6%. "Mountains, rivers and rivers limit the transportation conditions. At the same time, the subgrade and pavement width of bridges and tunnels are different, which increases the difficulty in controlling the pavement evenness, which has a certain impact on our pavement construction progress." Ding Zijun, the pavement director of temporary expressway TJ06 of Zhejiang Communications Group, said.

The temporary construction headquarters of Zhejiang Communications Group has simplified the complexity, strengthened the human and material resources guarantee, concentrated on solving the key and difficult problems of pavement quality, made efforts to improve the construction quality of asphalt pavement, thereby extending the service life of pavement, and promoted the construction of safe hundred year quality project.

In order to ensure that quality and progress go hand in hand, in combination with Zhejiang Communications Group's "Keeping the Red Root · Ten Minutes before Shift" and the implementation of the "Workers' Lecture Hall" on the temporary expressway, the temporary construction headquarters, Zhejiang High tech Construction Company and the Project Department are linked to carry out regular training on road surface quality improvement. Experts are invited every month to provide professional explanations and technical advice to road surface construction management personnel, team leaders and supervisors based on the actual construction situation.

"We carefully selected pavement construction teams with advanced construction inspection to enter the site, signed pavement technical consulting service contracts with the parent company, invited pavement experts from the headquarters to provide on-site guidance, and did our best to build professional teams and quality projects." Ding Zijun said.

The pavement quality is related to the pavement durability and driving comfort. The party and league members' business backbones are selected from the temporary high-speed highway to form the pioneer team of the party and league on the pavement, which challenges the traditional problems such as early pavement damage and vehicle jumping at the bridgehead. For sections prone to icing, the vanguard explored the ice and snow protection technology of asphalt pavement, and achieved self melting snow effect by improving the road surface infiltration state, strengthening the road surface permeability, reducing the freezing point and other means to facilitate the later pavement maintenance and increase the durability of pavement.

With the help of digital means and Internet of Things technology, the "151" project management system has also been built for the temporary expressway, the intelligent pavement management module has been developed, and the asphalt pavement data center has been established. During the construction of asphalt pavement, the location of vehicle transportation, the paving speed and temperature of the field paver, the rolling speed and temperature of the road roller and other data can be displayed in real time, and the number of times the road roller rolls can be monitored in real time to prevent the phenomenon of missing or excessive compaction, so as to truly achieve the "visible" quality.
